Spring Snow

We recently had a big spring snowstorm. Around 4 in the afternoon it began to fall and it came down heavily all evening. It was such a typical spring snow, very heavy and wet. I was amazed at how it made the branches droop so low. Our neighbor's branches were touching our grass! I was also so amazed at how it piled up so high on any surface.
They called off school for the day, so the girls painted some birdhouses and we had a nice day at home. As is typical with most spring storms, the last picture shows what our yard looked like at 3pm that day - 24 hours after it started!
