We are in waiting mode these days. It is that time in my pregnancy when I begin to feel uncomfortable, anxious, and very ready to meet this new little person I have spent so much time with.
There have been some very hard days, sleepless nights, uncomfortableness (that is probably not a word), and many emotions - most ending in tears. There have also been some really good days of spending great time with the girls, connecting with them and enjoying the simplicity of life with just the two of them; enjoying moments of dreaming about this baby, preparing his/her room, and some wonderful summer activities with family and friends.
So, I guess I write today just to proclaim that although this is a hard time it is also a precious time and I pray that I will enjoy each moment, living each one to the fullest. I pray that my desires for baby to come will not overwhelm and take over my desires to live in the present and be exactly where God wants me right now.
Perhaps I will take a moment and go smell the flowers, breath deeply of God's goodness and love for me, and maybe even tickle a foot or two of some precious little girls!
