Cozy Colorado Christmas
We had a very nice Christmas this year. It was pretty relaxed and cozy! The girls loved opening presents and were so excited for the new toys they got. On Christmas Eve we have a tradition of acting out the story of the birth of Jesus. We have been doing this ever since I can remember! I was always Mary or an Angel. Now the cousins are carrying on this tradition! This year Elizabeth was an Angel and Sarah was a Lamb! We are so blessed!
Hugs of excitement and thanks for the gifts they gave each other!

Finding the stockings full of goodies on Christmas morning!
Our cute little Lamb who was so proud to say her line, in fact she said it two times just so everyone could hear it for sure! "We could hardly believe our eyes!"
The angelic Angel! She had a whole bunch of lines to say and she repeated them all perfectly after Aunt Tammie. She was so excited to be in the play!
Some of the stars of the Christmas Eve retelling of the birth of Jesus. In case you are wondering if all these years you have just missed the part where the spaceship was in the story of the birth of Jesus...let me reassure you! Caleb decided at the last minute that he did want to be in the play and he wanted to be a cow. They had left his costume at home though because he was sure he didn't want to do it only a few hours before! Fortunately, grandma always has a creative way to solve a problem, so she found a black and white costume and there you go, a cow! :)
