Christmas Joys and New Year Hopes

We had a wonderful Christmas, although very busy! Our dear friend Wendy spent two weeks with us and we thoroughly enjoyed that. She brings laughter and fun where ever she goes. Thanks Wendy for being such a wonderful part of our Christmas!

We also had some fun times with my family. My mom hosted a tea for all the girls, big and little, which was very fun. Elizabeth loved that but even more she loved playing with all of her cousins! I hardly saw her when we were all together.

We got a lot of snow and it even snowed on Christmas morning, just for Wendy! It was a beautiful Christmas and we thank Jesus for coming to earth as a tiny baby, growing into a man who taught and loved people, and dying for all of our sins. What awesome truth that is!

My prayer for the year is that God would continue to work in my heart and my life, drawing me closer to Him in new and refreshing ways. I also pray that all of these works he does in me would transfer to my children and people around me. I desire so deeply for my passion for Him to be contagious. Jesus fill me with you and use me to draw others to you. What a calling and exciting adventure He has for each of us. Blessings to you all as 2008 begins!
