A while back we gave our niece Rachel a "gift certificate" to go on a mountains climb with us. Her birthday is in November so we had to wait until summer, well summer came and I was very pregnant so there was no hike last summer. So, this summer we finally got a good hike in. It was Rachel's first big mountain and we all really enjoyed our time together. She did great although at one point she was pretty sure she wouldn't see the summit. We made it to the top and just like me, she wants more! She has caught the mountain fever!
Rachel and Joshua have always had a very special relationship...they love each other!! Joshua was such a trooper and did great on his first mountain climb also!
